We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support the administration of existing projects in Melbourne and play an active role in instigating and maintaining new client relationships. 

The role

As the project administrator and sales representative you will be:

  • Working on high-profile projects, playing an active role in the support of the Project Manager in Melbourne
  • Supporting project teams, including formatting of documents, diary entry and updating of action trackers, reporting to our head office in Brisbane
  • Overall office routine; making and receiving phone calls, emailing, scanning and filing documents liaising with customers and suppliers and advising on services.
  • Prospecting new organisations previously untouched, instigating initial contact; presenting Glaziers.com services and expertise then developing and maintaining profitable client relationships.
  • Responsible for strengthening relationships with both existing and new clients.
  • In conjunction with the Project Manager, ensuring that monthly estimates of profit and loss, and sales reports are submitted on time
  • Ensuring timely and correct invoicing to our customers
  • Ensuring set up systems for follow up / order tracking are being updated

 

The successful candidate

We are looking for someone with:

  • a positive, energetic and self-motivated approach
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office 365 including Sharepoint.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, appropriate for communicating with both colleagues (local and interstate) and clients with a professional tone.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Flexibility as the role covers a broad range of tasks
  • Knowledge of safety and health in the construction industry and/or specific glazing industry experience would be advantageous
  • Experience of successfully working in a team

The successful candidate will be subject to reference checks and a six month probationary period to assess competence and suitability for the company.
