Our Business Services team

The Business Services group provides a broad range of administrative services to the firm including search and lodgement, national switchboard, facilities management, audio visual, space management, document production (copy/print/scan), mail, couriers, fax, stationery, print room fleet management, archiving/safe custody, purchasing, relevant business continuity plans, and environmental/sustainability initiatives.

Your role

An opportunity has arisen for a Supervisor to manage our high performing Business Services team. You will be kept challenged as this is a busy and varied role which will contribute to the overall success of the firm.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the day to day operations to ensure they are performed efficiently, accurately, professionally and cost effectively with possible hands on involvement of team management
  • Contact point for all operational, process or service delivery related issues
  • Maintain key supplier and service provider relationships and manage the purchasing expenditure
  • Supervising a team of eleven and participate in recruitment, personal development, performance and participate in salary reviews recommendations
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and investigate and report on monthly variances
  • Participate in the national alignment of policies, procedures, services and products for ongoing improvements
  • Identify, conduct and supervise continual process reviews - to internal and external benchmarks
  • Consider environmental and sustainability issues in relation to purchasing and occupation opportunities
  • Assist with the development of statistical information to monitor services and highlight areas for improvement
  • Possible involvement in local or national projects in line with business strategy
  • Represent the Manager/Director at routine and strategic meetings, as required
  • Ensure all relevant WHS guidelines and requirements

Exposure to the legal or professional services industry will be highly regarded.
