Prime Partners is seeking an Administration Officer to assist our accountants in managing client administration. You will be the main point of contact for our clients, ensuring that jobs are delivered well and on time.

This role is responsible for:

  • Providing a high level of customer service to all clients
  • Managing all client-related business process documentation, including creating and regularly updating checklists for on boarding new clients, exiting clients, etc.
  • Supporting accountants and partners in the management of clients, including preparing proposal letters, welcome letters, booking appointments/meetings, following up clients for information and documents, sending returns for signature, lodging tax returns and activity statements, setting up new entities, applying for ABN/TFN/GST/PAYGW, stamping trust deeds, corresponding with clients and the ATO, invoicing, taking payments, managing client feedback, managing audit protection service, and managing general queries and disputes
  • Maintaining a high-level understanding of clients and WIP
  • Regularly reviewing and updating relevant client records in our database, and create new jobs as needed
  • Regularly reviewing and cleansing the tax agent list
  • Managing enquiries email inbox
  • Providing accountants with Xero access to client accounts

This role is full-time and based in our North Sydney office.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least two years’ experience in customer-facing administration role, which may or may not be in accounting or professional services (you can learn on the job!)
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and very good general computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, and well-developed organisational and multi-tasking skills 

The full-time equivalent salary range is $45k-$60k depending on experience (inclusive of superannuation).
