Full Job Description
Our client is a specialised Government body who provide services to disadvantaged communities, individuals and families in NSW. This client is seeking an experienced Project and Administrative Support officer who will be responsible for providing administrative support to the department.
The purpose of this role will be to provide high quality executive, project and administrative support to enable the efficient operation of the business unit
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Reviews and tracks incoming correspondence such as Briefing Notes
- Provides support in respect to financial administration, compiling reports, preparing documentation
- Provides general administrative support in preparing a range of correspondence including letters, registers, reports and spread sheets to support the Business Unit needs
- Monitors the performance of administration and project services in terms of meeting the Unit's needs, identifying areas for improvement, making recommendations and coordinating approved actions to increase the efficiency of administration and project processes
- Other ad hoc administrative duties as required to support the delivery of the project as directed.
- Demonstrated Project Coordination skills ideally in a Government environment
- Intermediate MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Broad experience in providing executive, secretariat, administrative and related support services
- Good organisational skills, the capacity to undertake and complete several tasks concurrently, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines/time management skills
- Excellent verbal written and communication skills
