About the role: 

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced individual to join our Procurement Team, working Monday to Friday, on a Full Time basis.

This role requires an organised and proactive person with strong attention to detail. A high level of prioritisation skills are also required to ensure the efficient completion of daily procurement administrative tasks.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable and/or Contract Management will be highly regarded
  • A ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to take initiative and problem solve
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills with excellent capability in prioritising workload
  • The ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • A high level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages

Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for all Procurement related enquiries and proactively overseeing the group Procurement email inbox ensuring queries are promptly referred and/or followed up within agreed timeframes
  • Managing supplier compliance documents relevant to Aged Care specific requirements ensuring information management systems and expiring documents are kept up to date at all times (insurance certificates, WorkCover, police checks, etc.)
  • Managing utility invoice verification for payment and other end of month activities ensuring preferred suppliers are paid as per Contract Terms and Conditions
  • Providing administration assistance to the Procurement Manager as required and as reasonably expected of the role
  • Various other administrative tasks as directed by the Procurement Manager and influenced by business activities
