Our client has an exciting opportunity for a project coordinator to assist with various project administration and coordination tasks for an exciting NBN roll out project in the telecommunications industry.

 

The role will include carrying out the following duties:

  • Providing a high level of service to both internal and external customers.
  • Coordinating and communicating with field staff.
  • Assisting in scheduling work and responding to project related enquiries.
  • Preparing costing data and assisting with reconciliation of claims and system inputs for process reporting.
  • Preparing claims in line with schedule of rates, work compensation reports and field information.
  • Collating paperwork/information and provision of inventory for field staff.
  • Reconciling works complete against schedule daily and preparing completion packs for progressive record updates.
  • Attending project meetings and preparing/issuing actions.
  • Performing general HR administration and other administrative duties as required.

 

The successful applicant MUST have:

 

  • Telecommunications experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Demonstrated planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to achieve results in a high-pressure work environment.
  • Immediate to advanced Excel reporting and formatting skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong organisation, time management and planning skills.
  • Experience in document control and filing.
  • A positive and enthusiastic can-do attitude.
