Whytehall Services is a national company specialising in retail and commercial fit outs. We are experts in fit outs, custom joinery, project management, right through to sourcing the right fittings and furniture to suit any space. We are well respected in the industry, we have a wide range of clients seeking quality shop fitting.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join our fun and friendly team who is really, really, really passionate about customer service!!!

Ideally, you will have an interest in the shop fitting and/or building and construction industry and most importantly, you will be willing to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment.

Main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Answering phones, responding to emails, greeting clients and visitors
  • Providing a high level of customer service and friendly, professional manner in everything you do
  • Management of mail and archiving systems
  • General housekeeping of offices ensuring neat presentation at all times
  • Data entry and accounts payable
  • Providing admin and basic financial support to the Finance and Administration Manager
  • Providing Personal Assistant support to the Managing Director and Operations Manager
  • General administration tasks and errands as required

In order to be successful in this role you will have:  

  • Strong interest in reception and administration work with excellent customer service skills
  • At least 2 years experience that involved basic reception/admin/customer service duties
  • Solid work ethic with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft office package (Word & Excel)
  • Good numerical skills and data entry ability
  • Good time management, multitasking and organisational skills
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills including a warm, friendly and efficient phone manner
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail -this is a must!
  • The ability to work autonomously but also enjoy being part of a small team
