Based in Kurnell, an exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and intuitive individual with customer service or sales support experience to join the innovative Hardware Sales Order Management team, reporting to the National Inside Sales Manager.

What you will need to succeed in this role:

  • Strong initiative and enthusiasm, with willingness and aptitude to learn new procedures and product information
  • Strong customer service or sales support experience
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritise work, to meet  company and customer expectations
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate MS Office literacy and ERP applications
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of administration procedures (e.g. ordering, receipting, invoicing, returns and payments)
  • Ability to work as part of a cohesive team

Desired

  • Experience with EDI / Vendor Portals.
  • Knowledge of the relevant market including customers, suppliers, and competitors

 

What you will do in this role:

  • Enter and process incoming orders – EDI, web portal based, e-mail
  • Follow Vendor Bid process
  • Take calls, answer emails and process requests during stated work hours
  • Resolve any issues and/or escalate to the Manager
  • Liaise with transport companies to ensure stock is delivered in a timely manner
