This position is a parental leave replacement for an inital period of 6 months, commencing at the end of August 2018. The usual hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 8am-12:30pm.
Purpose of Role
The School Receptionist is the first point of contact many individuals have with Carey, and therefore performs a crucial marketing role. He or she will attend to visitors, deal with inquiries on the phone and face-to-face, as well as operating the switchboard; perform administrative tasks in support of the Community Relations department, in particular the Admissions team, and supply general information about Carey to the community.
The Carey Kew campus is divided into three School Sections (Junior School Kew, Middle School and Senior School); each has their own Section Reception. There is a further campus at Donvale (Junior School) with its own Reception.
