We are currently seeking an experienced IR/HR Administration person for a company located in Mareeba. This role will combine your hands on approach together with your strong leadership capability to work in with both internal staff and casuals on a daily basis.

You must have:

  • A Minimum of 2-5 years experience in Industrial Relations/Human Resource;
  • Ability to interpret Australian Workplace Awards and Agreements;
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation both face to face and over the phone;
  • An eye for detail and hands on approach;
  • Excellent computer skills to produce accurate reports;
  • Good mediation skills..

Your duties will be

  • Conduct Inductions and assist with recruitment;
  • Lead, inspire and motivate your workers;
  • Provide HR/IR assistance and advice to all levels of staff;
  • Attend weekly and monthly meetings with Management;
  • Perform counselling , prepare warnings and deal with performance issues.
