Our client is a high profile Queensland State Government Department. We are currently looking for an experienced Project/Program Administration Lead to join their team on a AO6 level. You will be working on a brand new, exciting and innovative Program, alongside a welcoming and supportive team!
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will oversee a busy team, providing Program Support Services to the Program Director and Program Leads to support the day-to-day operations of this new Program. You will manage and coordinate activities of the team to meet the Program’s priorities. This role requires excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills.
If successful your duties will include but aren't limited to:
- Support the Program Director and Program Leads by coordinating and managing the delivery of efficient and effective program support services in the areas of business support and administrative services, office logistics, document management as well as provide support to the Human Resources and Procurement.
- Lead and supervise the team providing program support services.
- Establish, implement and maintain administrative protocols, systems and practices to optimise productivity and cost effectiveness in support of program service delivery outcomes and the requirements of stakeholders.
- Be the point of contact for management, senior executives from public and private organisations, suppliers and Program team.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in providing a broad range of administrative and secretariat services to senior level management. A strong background in project/office management and executive administration or similar experience is a must.
- Sound organisational skills, the capacity to prioritise, undertake and complete several tasks concurrently, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
- Being an effective and efficient communicator and a team player. Proven ability to build strong collaborative relationship with customers and stakeholders.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy including experience using different Government Department in-house systems and MS Office suite.
