About the opportunity 


We are looking for an Administration Officer to join our team in Port Macquarie on a part-time fixed term contract until July 2019. Working 28 hours a week, the successful applicant would facilitate the operation of various Youth, Children and Families programs by providing administrative and office coordination in a professional and efficient manner. 

This role is central to the delivery of our person-centred approach. Our Administration Officers go above and beyond basic assistance with enquires and office tasks, to work collaboratively with clients and their families to support the physical and social wellbeing of our clients and help them achieve their goals.

 

About You

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an office environment
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, facilitate and evaluate project goals and desired outcomes
  • Verbal and written communication skills of a high standard
  • Proven computer skills including word processing, accessing emails and internet and data entry
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business as required
  • Ability to manage competing goals and to deliver outcomes under minimal supervision
  • Accounts Receivable/Payable experience
  • Experience with travel bookings, event, meeting and appointment management
