Terms: Permanent, full time, required immediately
Location: Kelior Park, Melbourne
Reporting to: Sales and Marketing Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the International sales and marketing team.
- Providing Quotations to customers and processing Sales Orders for the Sales Department.
- Maintain Customers Database and Sales Reports.
- Carry out follow-up contact with the customer for all Quotations
- Maximize Sales Opportunities and build close relationships with customers.
- Maintain current customer accounts and develop further business in the Asian and Australasia sales territories.
- Assist in the organization of company tradeshows (travel, site, hotel, furniture, etc) as well as accommodations and entertainment arrangements for company visitors.
Skills and Ability Requirements
- High aptitude for technology, especially a high level of computer literacy in Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet Explorer and desktop publishing.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced office environment - highly efficient and organized.
- Ability to prioritize.
- Attention to detail in addition to ability to see whole picture.
- A self-starter comfortable working in a team environment as well as individually.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Well developed customer service skills.
- Pleasant disposition, accommodating attitude, and professional demeanor.
- Demonstrated creativity in the Sales and Marketing field.
- Ability to support Sales & Marketing initiatives in a technically sophisticated industry.
Ongoing support and training will be provided.
Education and Experience
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience in an administrative position.
Assets:
- A background or interest in the aviation/avionics industry.
