We are a family owned and operated; Transport, Warehouse & Logistics Company and we are currently seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic & professional individual to join our busy office.

The fundamental to our business, is our strong relationships with our customers plus our internal communication is essential to the successful functioning of our team.  This is a busy hands on role, so we are looking for an office all-rounder / receptionist who enjoys variety, a challenge and working as part of our small team.

To be considered for the role the applicant must have\be:

•   Looking for a full time job: 38 hrs. p/week

•   Reliable transportation

•   Flexibility regarding start and finish times

Now whilst experience is not necessary and full training is provided, the candidate must display:

•   Sound telephone/customer relation skills; have a confident and positive customer focused personality

•   Strong typing & data entry skills; have the ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.

•   A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

•   The ability to maintain a calm demeanor under the pressure of deadlines while completing multiple tasks

•   A good work ethic; the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

•   Sensational customer service skills; whether that is via phone, in person or via email


By joining our team you will be the first point of contact both at the front office and on the phone (via email MS-Outlook, fax etc.) and you will be working with all members of the team to ensure the day to day operations of the business run smoothly.

The position also includes the following responsibilities:

•   Attending to all phone calls, processing enquiries and providing information and support;  Handle customer enquiries; Responding  to these queries/requests in a timely fashion;  Re-direct calls as appropriate;  take adequate messages when required


•   Data Entry; Receiving, recording and processing inbound orders; Prepare customers’ orders; Prepare documentation for the packing\dispatch of orders by the Warehouse

•   Liaise directly with our Warehouse Team and Transport Personnel, keeping frequent and clear communication  to facilitate best and most efficient business processes;  Implement processes and procedures to ensure effective warehouse operations are met

•   Liaising with both customers and office staff to ensure orders are carried out in a timely process.  Liaise with customers regards to their orders and any queries they may have

•   Record and prepare invoices; Maintain accurate record keeping of databases and files (electronic and hard copies)

•   Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence

•   Document scanning, Preparing mail, general administrative duties as required 

•   Keep the office well-organised, clean, tidy, professional-looking & free from hazards

We must also stress that this position requires someone that can work largely unsupervised and can maintain a professional attitude and demeanor at all times when dealing with supervisors, customers, work mates.
