Our successful Financial Services team cater to a broad range of clients, assessing their financial health and selecting the right products and investments to structure a financial plan that suits their individual goals and life-stage.

Our Financial Services team is facing great success and therefore have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Adviser Assistant to join our high performing team on a part time basis (3 days per week).

You will work closely with our Financial Services Directors and Financial Advisers to assist in providing exceptional services to our clients, particularly within the mortgage broking area.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Mortgage Brokers and Financial Advisers with loan application packaging and submit applications to lending organisations for assessment.
  • Data entry and tracking of all applications received into internal management and Lender's online lodgement systems.
  • Prepare all required compliance documents.
  • Be the liaison between the brokers, clients, lenders & solicitors alike to follow through the loan application process.
  • General administration duties such photocopying, scanning, filing, taking phone calls
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prepare advice documentation (Statement of Advice and Record of Advice) and research to support financial advisers and implement advice.
  • Managing new and existing client's enquiries to optimise advisers' time with clients and ensure a positive client experience.
  • Client portfolio reporting.

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you will require a minimum of 2 years' experience in an office administration/clerical position, preferably within the professional services environment.

In addition, you will

  • have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • exhibit strong computer literacy skills (Word, Excel and data entry);
  • have strong analytical and time management skills;
  • have the ability to work closely and collaboratively with lenders, solicitors and other parties throughout the loan process;
  • be well organised and can prioritise work easily;
  • have the ability to work well with others, however have an eye for detail; and
  • be a team player who is confident and willing to except responsibility and execute through to completion.
