We are a specialist materials testing company, providing laboratory and field testing services to the civil and environmental engineering industry. Chadwick Geotechnics (Australia) and Geotechnics (New Zealand) are part of the Tonkin + Taylor Group, a specialist, employee-owned environmental and engineering consultancy.

The Role:

Reporting to the Laboratory and Quality Manager, the main responsibilities will involve supporting our technical specialist in the management of our clients and delivery of our services.

Duties will include:

  • Ensuring work requests are accepted and processed within specific timeframes
  • Laboratory functions are accurately entered and added in to the laboratory information management system (LIMS)
  • Engaging with internal and external clients and coordinate responses to project queries
  • Ensuring the format and issuing of all documentation is in accordance with our branding guidelines
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and proactively engage with other Project and Technical staff
  • Preparation of technical reports in accordance with our quality management system
  • Direct keyboard entry of technical worksheet data

You will require excellent communication skills, the flexibility to adapt quickly to change and your people skills will be second to none! You will have the passion to deliver work to high standards. In addition to this you will:
