Our client is a global leader in the materials handling industry. With over 130 years experience, they offer a complete range of material handling solutions. An ongoing position is available for an experienced Service Coordinator to join the Service Department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start immediately however they are willing to wait for the right person.
Your duties will include:
- Despatching service jobs to field technicians and advising client of ETA's
- Monitoring of service calls and ensuring prompt allocation
- Efficiently utilise technician available working hours at all times
- Opening/closing jobs on the service management system
- Arrange sub-contractors, supply purchase orders and process supplier invoices
- Prepare quotes based upon supplied information and fax/ e-mail to customer for authorisation to proceed
- Process fortnightly timesheets ready for pay
- Ordering safety equipment, uniform, tools, consumables and stationery for the department
