Jasper Farms operates a mature 221 hectare avocado orchard, and is currently finalising the establishment of a second 175 hectare orchard, both 15 km from Busselton.
A full time position exists to join our experienced team and would ideally suit a proactive, results driven, motivated person wishing to develop a career in horticulture. Experience in supervision of staff, machinery operation and maintenance and the ability to learn to operate a computerised irrigation system will be highly regarded.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
- Experience in operating and maintaining machinery
- Experience in supervising staff
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver against set objectives
- Highly regarded but not essential:
- previous irrigated/intensive agriculture experience,
- forklift licence,
- chemical handling certificate
An attractive remuneration package, commensurate with experience, will be negotiated.
