Feed mill Operator 

(Full time)

We are one of the largest food manufacturers in Australia and New Zealand, with some of the most recognisable brands in the market. We are offering an opportunity for a motivated self-starter with a broad ranging practical skill set, to join our feed mill operations team based at our piggery facility located 45kms north of Bendigo, Victoria.

Our onsite feed mill manufactures 90% of our feed requirements across our multi-site facility.The role is quite varied, from intake of raw ingredients, to scheduling of production runs, and general maintenance.   

The Candidate:

As we are committed to health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and animals, in order to be considered for this role it will be expected that you possess the following: -

Essential

• A current driver’s licence
• Previous experience would be an advantage but not essential
• Ability to communicate with other internal and external stakeholders
• Good communication skills
• Intermediate computer knowledge,
• Strong commitment to work, health and safety
•  Prepared to work flexible hours (including some weekends and some public holidays)

 Desirable

• Experience liaising with tradespersons and contractors
• HC license preferable however not essential
• Current forklift ticket
• Safe working at heights and confined spaces tickets would be highly desirable   

Experience in a similar role is not essential but would be viewed favourably.
