Wodonga Abattoir is a large Meat Processing Facility based in Wodonga, Victoria. The Abattoir processes cattle, sheep, goat and lamb for overseas markets. We are seeking expressions of interest for a Livestock Manager.
Duties would include:
- General stock team duties (at a senior level) including stock receivals, yarding and general stock movements.
- Coordinate training to stock team members, including conducting competency assessments and identifying individual and team training requirements.
- Completing all documentation relevant to livestock traceability and Quality Assurance programs.
- Liaise with Transport companies, Farmers and Livestock agents.
- Coordinate and plan team rosters.
Previous experience in the Abattoir and/or livestock agency industry is not required but would be an advantage.
