About Us
Centrogen is a leading provider of open space and vegetation management solutions with over 30 years experience delivering a range of vegetation management services to quality government and corporate clients in Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory. Our business is going through an exciting growth period as we have recently expanded our operations into Western Australia.
We seek to appoint a Field Operator to join our Crew. Your primary function in this role will be to drive a truck with water and herbicides in support of the crew as they carry out rail on and off track herbicide spraying activities across a large geographical area. You will also assist with spraying and other duties as required. Regular away work is required.
It is essential that you have a HR License along with any of the following:
- Vegetation control experience
- Weed ID and spraying experience
- Strong workplace health and safety orientation
- Environmental understanding
- Ability to work away regularly on a roster cycle of 12 days on and 4 days off
Applicants with a Road Rail Vehicle Ticket or Safe Worker ticket Level 1 will be highly regarded. Opportunities exist for the right applicant to work with a great bunch of people and to develop new skills in a rail based environment.
It is a requirement of all of our roles that selected candidates satisfactorily pass a rail pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening. During the course of your employment you may be required to submit to a Federal Police Clearance if required and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
