Residential Care Workers play an integral role within Junction Support Services, creating and maintaining a safe and caring environment for children and young people in residential care.
Job tasks and responsibilities
A unique and exciting opportunity exists for people interested in working in this diverse and rewarding environment. Applicants need to:
- Be resilient
- Be willing to work evening and night shifts
- Be able to assess situations and make decisions
- Be able to support the integrity of the services
- Be able to work in a team
- Be willing to work on a shift work basis; &
- Have a minimum Certificate IV in Youth Work, Community Services, Disability or Welfare.
- A current Victorian WWCC or proof of application
- Current First Aid Certificate
