Promoting client choice & independence, our Community Care Workers are responsible for the delivery of high quality services to meet the needs of Helping Hand clients within their homes and in the community. This includes supporting independence, and the client’s right to choice.
Our Community division is now hiring for passionate Community Care Workers for shifts over the Adelaide Metropolitan area – South, East, West and North.
You will be providing help to our clients by providing services such as personal care, respite, meal preparation, transport, laundry, general house cleaning, shopping, banking and bill paying. Personal care services form a key part of the role. These may include assisting clients with showering, grooming, dressing and other areas of personal care.
We are seeking applications from candidates who can demonstrate the following:
/ A can-do attitude.
/ Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
/ Reliable and conscientious approach to the role.
/ Current driver’s license.
/ Registered, well maintained, clean and tidy vehicle.
/ Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
/ Current National Police Clearance.
/ Current DCSI Clearance.
/ Certificate 3 in Community Services (or equivalent Certificate 3 level qualification in allied field or equivalent experience)
/ Excellent communication skills
