CASS Care Ltd is a multi-disciplined community services provider active in the provision of a comprehensive range of social welfare services, catering the needs from cradle to seniors, including child care, aged care, settlement and health, vocational and disability services, and many more community-based services.

CASS Care is an approved National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service provider and we are seeking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled person to fill the above position in our Disability Services Team.

Position Summary:

The position is responsible for the day to day operations and management of our Specialist Disability Accommodations in a residential setting, supporting those individuals in residence with quality of life.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively and efficiently with residents and their families/ carers in developing person-centered individual plans, ensure that residents are assisted in their daily living, accessing the community and medical issues, etc.;
  • Provide quality service coordination, staff supervision and support, as well as arranging training to the subordinates where appropriate;
  • Carry out administrative duties as required;
  • Demonstrate competency in financial and budgetary matters;
  • Comply with NDIS Practice Standards; and
  • Comply with WHS Regulations and Guidelines.

Selection Criteria:

Essential

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Science, Education, Leisure and Recreation, Welfare, Disability or related disciplines;
  • Relevant knowledge on NDIS;
  • Experience working in disability services;
  • Demonstrable initiatives and leadership skills;
  • High level of interpersonal and networking skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
  • Computer and electronic devices literate (Proficient with Microsoft Office package, Client Management System, Social Media etc.);
  • Able to work flexible hours and be on call;
  • Valid police check certificate; and
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

Desirable

  • Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
