Government organisation based in Parramatta providing support to clients with a range of issues.
   
  
The Role  
This position provides support to clients who have a range of issues. The role is based in Parramatta and you will be working within a small team to promote and protect the rights, interests and dignity of people with a disability and to reduce their exploitation, abuse and neglect. The role is initially for a 3 month period and will require the employee to cover a large geographical area. You will be advocating on behalf of you clients and liaising with a range of stakeholders. 
  
  
The Candidate
In order to be successful in this role you will be required to have a third level qualification in aged care, disabilities or a relevant field. You will require extensive experience working with complex clients and advocating on their behalf. We are looking for some who will hit the ground running as this is a short term role. A driver's licence is essential in this role.
  
  
  
Additional info
The role is available immediately and will be initially be for 3 months but this could extend. The team is a small friendly team who are supportive and available to offer advice and assistance. This role will need to be filled by next week so don't delay.
