We are currently seeking a highly effective Business Support Lead for our Disability Services team in BlueCare in a fixed term capacity until 29 March 2019. The purpose of this role is to support local resources within assigned Regions to undertake and build capability in relation to NDIS Service Agreements and related NDIS transition activities through mentoring, coaching and quality assurance reviews.  

 

The successful candidate must be available to travel frequently within Brisbane North, Sunshine Coast and Gympie regions.

 

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist and build capability within local resources to undertake the following NDIS Transition related activities:
    • liaise with colleagues involved in NDIS pre-planning, service scheduling and resource allocation as required
    • engage with customers, support coordinators or other relevant stakeholders
    • advise on service remodelling for individual customers
    • undertake service design with customers and/or support coordinators and develop and document quotations
    • in-depth understanding and application of the NDIS Price Schedule
    • negotiate, document and obtain appropriate approvals for NDIS Customer Agreements and/or Customer Booking Authorisations
    • populate and maintain project risk, issues, action and dependency registers and contribute to the resolution and mitigation of risks and issues 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in the Disability Sector
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and written communication skills including experience in coaching or mentoring others to build capability and confidence
  • High level of general ICT competency, including intermediate level Excel, with demonstrated ability to quickly learn new operational systems and processes
  • Ability to deliver a consistent, professional customer focused service
  • Demonstrated ability to process information and problem solve to reach a defined outcome
  • Excellent attention to detail and drive to deliver quality results
  • Ability to work as a team and autonomously
  • Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme would be highly regarded
