Multiple positions available within Rumbalara’s Family Services area to deliver the family services to respective Rumbalara clients
All positions are Full Time - 38 hrs per week
Foster Care
To provide a culturally safe service and support to achieve positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
Kinship Care
An understanding of the Looking after Children framework and Best Interest Case Practice model.
Leaving Care
Demonstrated understanding of the complex needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people particularly as this relates to their experiences within the Out of Home Care System.
Targeted Care
Demonstrated experience working with partner agencies to strengthen package proposals to ensure the package will meet the full needs of the child or young person
Integrated Family Services
Demonstrated awareness of kinship networks and issues that have an impact within the Aboriginal community.

To be eligible to apply, you must have:
- A demonstrated knowledge of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and culture and an understanding of factors that influence the health and wellbeing of young Aboriginal people
- An understanding of Department of Human Services (DHS) policies and procedures regarding case planning including related framework such as “Looking after Children” and “Cultural Support Plans”.
- Qualifications in Community Services / Early childhood or equivalent
