AXIS Employment is an Industry Leader in Disability Employment Services across Victoria and South Australia. We work with Job Seekers to gain and sustain employment and work with employers to recruit and maintain their workforce.
We are looking for a dynamic results driven individual for the role of Employment Consultant in our Bendigo office.
As an Employment Consultant you would be responsible for:
- Identify barriers faced by Job Seekers and, with the client, set priorities in addressing these.
- Meet and exceed targets for employment outcomes.
- Provide sustainable employment outcomes for Job Seekers.
- Reverse market Job Seekers to prospective employers
- Locate and negotiate relevant support services on behalf of clients.
- Provide ongoing support to Job Seekers to motivate and assist them to become socially self-sufficient.
The key competencies you will require to be successful in this role are as follows:
- Demonstrated ability to work towards and achieve/exceed targets.
- Interest in assisting Job Seekers with medical conditions, disabilities or illnesses to obtain sustainable employment.
- Sales and relationship building skills to effectively reverse market Job Seekers to prospective employers.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated capabilities in a customer contact and/or sales role.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong computer skills.
- An insight into the issues/challenges facing Job Seekers
Requirements

The total remuneration package for the successful applicant is equivalent to $65,700 and includes base salary, an iPhone, company vehicle, ability to salary sacrifice, and 10% superannuation.
