APEIRO Institute is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO Code: 45394), to deliver courses in the areas of Business, IELTS exam preparation and PTE exam preparation. We are located in the heart of Perth CBD and all these courses are run at our premises in the CBD.

Due to high demand for structured ELICOS courses, Apeiro Institute is launching its brand new ELICOS Courses for IELTS and PTE Academic.

About the Role

We are seeking motivated individual for a PARTTIME position that can turn into fulltime role for the right candidate. The successful candidate should be able to deliver following courses:

• ELICOS – IELTS Preparation for Success
• ELICOS – PTE Preparation for Success

This position will be reporting and liaising directly to Training Manager. You will be supported and guided by our experienced Training Manager. Initially, you will be revising, finalizing training/learning material, validations and industry consultation. Afterwards, you will be required to deliver ELICOS courses in the respective fields.

To be Successful in this Role,

You must hold the following qualification and experience:

• A Graduate Certificate /  Diploma or Higher in TESOL 
• Appropriate TESOL teaching experience or are formally mentored by a senior staff with this experience.
• A practicum of 100 hours or equivalent
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar role
• Experience in leading and managing people
• Willing to sign declaration and give authority to Apeiro Institute to verify the qualifications.
• Good working knowledge of ELICOS Standards 2018.
• Excellent skills in MS Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Plus,

• Working knowledge of VET Quality Framework, AQF, SRTO (2015) standards, CRICOS standards, ESOS and National Code 2017.
• Experienced and skilled in course reviews, revision of curriculum syllabus, validations, moderation and stakeholder consultation. 
• Well organised and an ability to prioritise work with exceptional customer relationship management skills
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal skills and can communicate in English well
• Proven ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
• Strong work ethics and positive attitude
• Good understanding of issues faced by international students
• Must be able to demonstrate vocational skills, professional development, experience and qualification relevant for ELICOS course modules to be delivered in Trainer matrix register
• Must be able to take ownership of the work assigned with right passion
• Must be able to maintain own industry currency by participating and engaging in industry and able to provide evidence for it on yearly basis.
• Must be able to understand and follow workplace procedures as per duties and responsibilities assigned and instructions from Training Manager.
• Willing to sit for IELTS and PTE academic exams from time to time to maintain PD and industry currency.

Desired,

• Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40110) including LLN unit (TAELLN411)
• Should be able organise at least 1 guest speaker session through networking in industry for relevant vocational topics in class, for sure you will have our complete support!
