The Centre
anzuk Early Childhood is currently working with a  highly regarded medium sized childcare centre located in Melbourne's inner south east. The service is community run  and aims to provide a stimulating natural environment for children from all backgrounds. They value that every child is unique and important and encourage each child to grow and learn in a fun and warm educational setting.  The service believes that their employees are their greatest asset, and provide all educators with professional development opportunities, on going support, promotional opportunities, as well as providing additional employee benefits for all educators. All rooms run above ratio and staff are supported by a very experienced Director. Anzuk have supported this service for a number of years and it is clear to see their existing team have a fantastic culture, a real team focus through out. 

The Opportunity
Supporting the Director this role will be a leadership position where the ideal candidate has the ability to influence and guide educators within the centre as well as the service as a whole in the absence of the Director. It would best suit an experienced educator who has had a leadership role previously. It is expected that the successful candidate has extensive knowledge the Early Years Leaning Framework to mentor staff as the educational leader.  In return you will be be work a 9 day fortnight and be paid 6 percent above the Professional Childcare Standard award. This really is an opportunity not to be missed. 

 The ideal candidate:

• Ideally have had at least a year of management experience 
• Must demonstrate initiative, be an inspiration and support staff
• Hands on with educational leadership
• Openness and willing to learn
• Staff rostering
• Capacity to manage the service in the absence of the director
• Excellent customer service

Suitable applicants must have:

• Diploma of Children Services
• Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
• WWCC
• Right to work in Australia
• MUST have experience
