About the business and the role
Australian International Language College ( AEC consulting Pty Ltd) is a nationally registered training organisation( RTO ) delivering courses in business, marketing and communication and international business.We offer high quality, engaging, interactive face to face delivery modes. We are currently seeking full-time, part time and casual trainer & assessors to join our Academic team to deliver face to face training in the following courses-
Diploma of information technology
Certificate IV in Ageing support
Diploma of Community services
Diploma of Early childhood education and care
Job tasks and responsibilities
Trainer and assessor will provide academic leadership in delivering specific units of study in the courses. Duties may include, facilitating student learning through teaching and learning activities, marking of assessment, conducting simulated based assessments, and undertaking practical assessments. They liaise with students, support staff, other educators and report to the principal.
Your role may include:
- Lesson planning and Course delivery
- Reviewing available resources to plan lessons
- Conducting simulated & practical assessments
- Preparation of Assessment tools
- Resource and assessment tool validation (as required)
- Associated administrative tasks
- Undertake Professional developments
- Maintain industry currencies
Skills and Knowledge
What you need:
- Relevant vocational qualification to the level to teach.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40110 or TAE40116 (required)
- Minimum 2 years' experience
- Current experience in face to face delivery desirable.
- In-depth understanding of ASQA regulatory guidelines and standards (highly desirable)
