Our Client
Our Client is a National For Purpose organisation passionate about empowering individuals and communities through their commitment to make a difference by providing opportunity.
They are seeking an experienced Trainer with a flexible teaching approach to deliver LLN & Foundation Skills training as part of the SEE Program.
Please note this position is three days per week
The Position
As a SEE Trainer your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver LLN and components of accredited training to clients
- Assist with the development, design and implementation of the training program
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure desired outcomes and delivery hours are achieved in accordance with the contract
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, communities and stakeholders
- Reviewing and updating training programs and activities as required
- Provide flexible learning delivery, adapting resources and delivery methods to meet the needs and goals of clients
- Undertake accurate record keeping and reporting duties to ensure compliance and consistency
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a current Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
- Certificate in TESOL or have at least 100 hours teaching English as an additional language, Adult Literacy experience/qualifications
- Demonstrate flexible and adaptive training delivery experience
- Have proven experience achieving positive outcomes including client participation, retention and compliance
Applicants must also have:
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- A current Drivers Licence
- An AFP National Police clearance (or be willing to undergo and satisfy an AFP Police check)
- The ability to travel to remote/regional communities to attend meetings and training outside standard business hours as required
