The VET Coordinator (VC) is responsible to the Executive Officer (EO) for the day to day administration of courses and training provided through Community College Northern Inland Inc.(CCNI), a Registered Training Organisation. The VC will, with the EO and the rest of the CCNI team, ensure that CCNI’s practices and behaviours comply with the Standards for RTOs 2015 by providing students with quality outcomes through the five key phases of the student experience – Marketing and Recruitment, Enrolment, Support and Progression, Training and Assessment and, Completion
The key performance areas are;
- Accurate input of AVETMISS data and preparation of reports
- In collaboration with the VET Manager and EO - Evaluation of courses – development and maintenance of training products
- In collaboration with VET Manager and EO develop appropriate course/ workshop content and assessments
- In collaboration with VET Manager and EO, support maintenance of CCNI’s status as an RTO including additions to scope
- In collaboration with local coordinators, EO and VET Manager, schedule courses each term
- Management of a trainer resources
- Course administration support when needed – calling students, printing rolls, enrolment forms, check-off sheets and evaluation forms, organising course materials, collecting payments, liaising with Job Agencies and their clients, checking attendance, data entry, printing certificates and filing
In addition, the VC is expected to give adequate attention to the following specific areas;
- Continuous Improvement – all CCNI staff are expected to maintain a proactive approach
- Submission of claims for funded courses/students
- Development of Training Schedules and Funding Submission in consultation with VET Manager and EO.
- Purchase of training resources
- Support trainers to meet funding requirements/deadlines
