We blend face to face, online and correspondence learning methods to give our Trainees nationally recognised certificates.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated trainer and assessor, with a genuine passion for the community services sector to train and assess students completing our nationally accredited Diploma of Community Services (Case Management).

 

The winning candidate's role will include, but not be limited to:

 

  • Providing training and support to our students face to face, online and via correspondence
  • Assess students face to face, online and via correspondence
  • Ensure student data and information is up to date at all times in our Learning Management System, Student Management System and Customer Relationship Management System
  • Validate and moderate training and assessment resources
  • Visit workplaces in order to provide support to workplace staff and students
  • Visit workplaces in order to assess students
  • Meet training and assessment KPIs set by management and Government agencies
  • Putting strategies in place with management and other staff to improve the quality of training and assessment at Apex
  • We currently have a casual Trainer position based in Mount Gravatt.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma of Community Services (Case Management) or demonstrable knowledge and experience
  • Recent industry experience (2 years or more experience within the last 2 calendar years)
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent & demonstrated vocational training skills
  • Blue Card
  • Yellow Card
  • Valid Australian driver's license
  • Own vehicle preferred
  • Strong computer literacy
