Program Coordinator / Lecturer - Business Faculty
Macleay College is a well-established private education provider with over 30 years of experience delivering business, marketing, journalism, advertising and media, and digital media qualifications in Sydney, and Melbourne.
The Business Faculty offers Diploma and Bachelor qualifications in Business and Marketing with approximately 200 students enrolled across the two campuses.
The faculty is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator, commencing immediately. The position is based in the Sydney Campus in Surry Hills. Macleay's program delivery centres around Design Thinking, the Lean Agile Methodology and the Entrepreneurship Mindset. Candidates with experience in these areas are eagerly sought.
The role involves working with a small, dedicated team and includes:
• Be the interface between sessional staff and students
• Assist in the design and delivery of units and courses, as well as the development of new units and courses
• Administer and coordinate sessional staff teaching requirements
• Administer the online portal (Moodle) for business-related units
• Course administration – timetabling, attendance lists, resource allocation, class lists, tutorials
• Develop content for units and classes
• Deliver lectures, classes and workshops up to 18 hours per week
• Report to the Head of Faculty
The successful applicant will have the following professional skills:
• A Masters degree, or be working towards one
• Professional industry experience with a strong network of industry connections
• Teaching and lecturing experience with an exemplary record
• Demonstrated long-term relationship building
• Demonstrated ability to work professionally with students and teachers
