This is hands on role which will report to the Logistics Team Leader. You will work across the Shipping, Data entry, Materials and Design roles of the Logistics department. This role will suit someone who is positive, pragmatic and who is happy to jump in and get their hands dirty!

Essential criteria:

  • Experience in a similar administrative management role (Health, FMCG, manufacturing)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good planning and sourcing skills
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in taking projects or process improvements from conception to implementation
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to handle competing priorities
  • Display high levels of honesty and integrity
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology
  • A commitment to all work place health and safety standards
  • Manage and implement new procedures where technical support is required.

Desirable

  • Experience or interest in self development
  • Relevant qualifications- admin etc.
  • Familiarity with Oracle programs

Summary of position requirements:

  • Work to KPIs
  • Oversee stock control
  • Data entry
  • Purchasing
  • Monitoring of backlogs
  • Work closely with our offshore facilities
  • Collaborate with other members of the Logistics team and other departments of Starkey to find most efficient processes
  • Work with external courier companies
  • Problem solving
