The Role:

We have an opportunity with our EDGE brand for a Commercial Aluminium Fabricator. EDGE is a leader in the design and supply of Architectural Framing Systems for the commercial window, door and shading market.

You will be a skilled fabricator, highly capable in the assembly of aluminium architectural windows, doors, louvres, frames and complete a variety of other tasks, including new product prototypes and the fabricating testing samples.

Responsibilities:

• Fabrication, as required and instructed of aluminium architectural windows, doors, louvres and frames
• Fabrication and product support for new product prototypes/designs
• Fabrication of testing samples to comply with the required Australian Standard and/or Building Code
• Support EDGE Technical in the development of fabrication details/reports

Qualifications:

• Building trade qualified, desirable but not essential

Work Experience and Skills:

Essential:

• Previous experience fabricating windows and doors, preferably for a commercial fabricator
• Confident in the use of hand tools, punches, aluminium saws, copy router
• Able to expertly fit locks, handles and winders to specification
• Take pride in your work and have a great attention to detail
• Excellent problem solver

• Great communication skills with team members and stakeholders
• Can remain flexible, manage multiple projects, and prioritise effectively
• Must be self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously
• Professional, polite and punctual
