Our client is seeking a switched on individual who has a sound knowledge and understanding of freight forwarding and Export to join their team. We are seeking someone with the motivation and drive to progress in their chosen field and in time make the step up into a Team Leader role.


Key responsibilities of the position include:

• Issuing documents and arranging export shipping for external clients
• Coordinating intercompany Export Shipping
• Acting as a first point of contact for internal and external customers for any export shipping enquirers
• Assisting with project shipments and LC shipments as required
• Issuing documents and arranging logistics of branch export shipments
• Handle 3rd party/Cross Trade Shipments
• Telephone and Email correspondence
• Managing invoicing

To be considered for this role you will possess:

• Export / Import knowledge
• Background in either freight forwarding or domestic distribution
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Competency in MS office suites
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
