Our client is a leading trading company providing both raw materials and specialty products to a wide variety of industries. Over the past century the business has continually evolved and nurtured strong relationships with both customers and suppliers, making them the market leader that they are today.
An opportunity to join this business has now presented to work within this busy team. This is a varied role supporting both shipping and finance functions with tasks that include but are not limited to:
- Processing overseas invoices
- Overseas payments
- Processing payments
- Liaising with the bank if necessary
- Export documentation inclusive of L/C's
- Managing shipments and shipment schedules
- Assisting with any administrative tasks
- Purchasing from overseas and local suppliers, and raising claims when required
- Assisting stock management, stocktakes as required
This is a small team environment and will require you to have a flexible approach to you work and have the ability to work unsupervised. You will be detailed in your work and have a sense of urgency.
