THE ROLE
In this role you will enjoy using your mechanical aptitude and previous machine operation experience in performing the following machine operation and general packaging duties:
- Managing machine change overs between runs of product. Be comfortable stripping and assembling contact parts of the machine along with clean and sanitising.
- Mechanical over site of one labelling line
- Stocking and sorting product for packaging. Moving of boxes of bottled product ready to enter the QA, labelling and packing phases.
- Monitoring the operation of the labelling machines to ensure that they are applying labels correctly and efficiently
- Removing finished items from the machine and performing basic QA on labels and product
- Hand packing of product into product boxes and then into cardboard shippers ready for shipment.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
To be successful in securing this great role you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in a fast paced FMCG or Pharmaceutical Environment is highly desirable
- Experience operating, partially stripping and assembling along with over sighting the operation of machinery
- Knowledge of bottling, labelling, production processes and quality control.
- Experience with quality control analysis and highly developed problem solving skills
- High level of attention to detail including speed and accuracy
- Ability to complete tasks manually including moving bulk product and packaging
- Good communication skills including reading and comprehension
- Be physically fit and strong - able to operate a pallet jack and move large volumes of finished product from the bottling area to the labelling machines.
- Due to the location of this company having your own transport is desirable as is being flexible and reliable.
- Successful completion of a Police check is required for this position

Your proven experience working in a pharmaceutical or similar role is highly desirable as is your demonstrated experience performing manual handling of product and knowledge of GMP.
