Your new Department
This major Federal agency operates a unique and successful creative hub, which coaches and facilitates design thinking & human-centred design. Made up of industry experts who are skilled at challenging the status quo, this team help APS staff and projects flip the table and think about thinks in a user-centred way.
Your new role
Think post-it notes, scribbling on the walls, building projects out of crafts & Lego, teamwork, trust, and respect - if you have designed and delivered coaching sessions around design thinking and human-centred design, this could be the role for you.
Working in a highly flexible physical space, you will bring stakeholders together to solve complex problems using a broad range of skills. You will work closely with your project groups to understand their challenge, and create the best design session to tackle it.
You’ll work with a team to deliver the session in a collaborative environment, coaching teams on how design thinking can be utilised to overcome a variety of obstacles.
What you'll need to succeed
We’re looking for people who have a few years’ experience in session co-design, facilitation, and delivery. You’ll understand design-thinking and human-centred design, and have experience coaching this in a variety of ways.
You’ll be a champion of the user and audience, and you’ll have experience flipping traditional ‘business-first’ thinking on its head.
