As part of our Managed Service and IT infrastructure division, the T&T Director will take ownership of the transition and transformation program that will help our customers make their IT operation more efficient and more effective to support their business growth.

 

Lead complex IT infrastructure Transition and Transformation (T&T) program with multiple workstreams from planning to final deliver.  Manage complex and large multiple Infrastructure, Managed Services and/or Application Projects concurrently (of cross-tower/practice/service line/3rd party management), including Setting the ICT Technology Transformation approach for our customers based on their ICT applications landscape and business priorities.

 

Manage program governance, deliverables and timescale

  • Overseas the development, management and adherence to an integrated program plan
  • Forecasting and measuring performance progress
  • Identify challenges, management of risks, variation and escalation
  • ensure adherence to strong project governance processes as well as planned schedule
  • Partner with leadership, operations, and IT to prioritize system enhancement requests
  • Quality management, ensuring deliverables meets expected acceptance criteria

 

Lead and Manage Cross Functional Team

  • Resource demand planning, define resources profile requirements and set respective T&T objectives
  • Lead & manage mult disciplinary teams of engineers, portfolio managers, project managers from cross ICT towers both internally as well as externally 3rd party contractors
  • Providing strong and clear leadership and high-level transformation direction to the whole team

 

Manage Customer Relationship and business stakeholders

  • Work with customer executive team to define, scope and articulate details behind the transition and transformation strategy to enable successful implementation
  • Manage customer expectations, assess variation requests, articulate business impact to program
  • Communicate to program board / steering committee and stakeholders program status against agreed milestones, achievement of benefits, program risks and mitigation strategy or recommends re-alignment of program plan where required.

 

Contract and commercial management

  • Manage program budget, with P&L responsibility of the program
  • Track cost accounting to meets approved project budgets efficiently
  • Ensure compliancy with contract obligations and
  • Manage program variation and commercial impact /risks
  • Management of third party supplier and technology partner deliverables against contracts
  • Manage Business Development
  • Support sales and pursuit team by defining Managed Services IT Outsourcing Transition & Transformation (T&T) strategies, solution documentation, and proposal inputs

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor or Master Degree and (must have) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • 12+ years of IT infrastructure, Managed services, application integration related project/program management experience

  • Leadership excellence, combined with highly tuned interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.

  • Strategic consulting skills coupled with significant experience developing and implementing transformational business strategies

  • Experience with large IT transition and transformation involving transformation to consumption based cloud services across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS

  • Experience with IT projects related to digital workplace, complex data centre and network transitions.

  • Extensive knowledge and experience developing business cases, programme plans, managing multi-million AUD program budgets and implementation strategies.

  • Proven record of demonstrating high degree of financial cost and commercial awareness

  • Leadership skills with a proven track record of developing high performing project teams

  • Strong change management experience with the ability to influence, manage and rollout change

  • Solid senior stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to operate at senior levels of operation head, CxO-Level customer-facing liaison

  • Shows evidence of analytical ability and attention to detail. Appreciates the importance of commercial constraints

  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
