Due to our exciting ongoing growth we are now looking for a full time HSEQ Advisor to join our team at Scope HSEQ. The position involves working closely with our existing HSEQ Advisors as well as current and new clients to assist them in the creation of Integrated Management Systems to relevant Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards. This role will be based out of our head office in West Perth with a strong focus on field support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit and report on client HSEQ management system performance against established HSEQ objectives and standards.
  • Develop and maintain client HSEQ management systems and plans as well as complete risk assessments
  • Develop and implement a schedule for client internal HSEQ system audits.
  • Assist with external client HSEQ system audits and manage external audit outcomes with the client.
  • Interperate and disseminate client HSEQ system requirements including the site risk assessment register, site specific HSE training, etc.
  • Interpret tender and contract information supplied and develop subsequent client project action plans to address HSEQ related items.
  • Participate in client significant incident investigations.

Key Requirements:

Must have completed a Diploma/Degree in Health, Safety, Environment or Quality or in a related discipline or similar or working towards a post graduate qualification in HSEQ.

  • 2 years experience is required as well as a desire to learn.
  • Excellent written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound computer literacy with word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Sound ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and complex problem solving.
  • Auditor qualifications for ISO 9001/ISO 14001/AS4801 preferred
