Looking for a Senior Communications Officer for an initial 6 month contract.

Purpose of the role:

• Develop and oversee communication strategies, marketing campaigns and events aimed at informing the community of health initiatives, raising public awareness of health issues and services.

Key accountabilities:

• Develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies and marketing campaigns
• Manage communication strategies and marketing campaigns, working to ensure all campaigns adhere and follow agreed processes
• Manage communication channels and materials including websites, social media and printed material ensuring alignment with policies
• Monitor, evaluate and report on the outcomes of communication and marketing projects to ensure continual improvement and to help inform future projects and campaigns
• Monitor the budget of communications and marketing projects, advising to ensure activities are managed within the allocated budget and timeframes
• Manage and monitor contracts and relationships with a range of service providers including event, advertising, media and communication agencies, to ensure a well-coordinated and timely implementation communication activities

Essential requirements:

• Experience working with a Senior Communications position, with competing demands
• Experience managing and developing communication strategies and marketing campaigns
• Ability to manage communication channels, including websites and social media
• High level written and verbal communication skills
