About the Role

Are you a digital marketing expert who lives and breathes online marketing? Do you enjoy the challenge of managing a sales funnel, trialling new techniques and approaches – striving to increase the number of sales leads whilst also reducing their cost? Are you interested in a role that lets you manage a retail brand – controlling its creative direction and driving its growth both nationally and internationally?

We are currently looking for a digital marketing guru to take charge of our marketing strategy and propel our world-class product forwards into new markets and new opportunities. Working within a young and energetic team, we want a digital marketing expert who is passionate about coming up with real-world strategies that grow and develop our business.

A go getter that produces deliverables without being asked.  

Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone who is/has:

• Current PPC digital and social marketing skills and who has been using these skills to drive sales growth within an online retail environment
• Able to formulate marketing strategies within a broader marketing plan and measure and report on the effectiveness of each strategy
• Confident, (high energy in the office) and is comfortable with being responsible for achieving set targets
• Email marketing proficiency in Mailchimp
• Recent experience working with SEO and has a detailed and practical knowledge of managing and interpreting Google Analytics
• Able to act as a creative leader for our brands including inspiring and providing creative direction to other team members
• Experience writing content that supports our brand, products and marketing strategies
• Recent experience working with Facebook Analytics
• Excellent Photoshop skills and a familiarity with other products within the Adobe Creative Suite

Responsibilities

The nature of this position is where you are able to flex your muscles and control the organisation’s sales and marketing strategies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a sales budget in excess of $30,000/month
• Formulating, measuring and reporting on marketing strategies
• Brand management and creative direction

Who we are:

• We are health and fitness brand based in Brendale, Brisbane.  (see www.vpa.com.au)
• Our warehouse/office (where you will be required to work from) is located in Brendale.
• Due to the small size of our team, this role does not accommodate for work from home or agency. We need you to be on site each day to help our team. 

Next phase (once we’ve reviewed your resume and cover letter)

• We would love to have you on site for 2 hours to demonstrate some of your skills to us in a practical form.  You could bring your own laptop (preferred) or we can provide you with a laptop to allow us to meet our team face to face as well as demonstrate to us your ability to work under pressure and produce deliverables. Don’t worry we’re all very friendly in our office.
