A fantastic opportunity presents itself for an Internal Communications Specialist to join a leading Sydney university to implement and execute staff communications strategies on a 3 month contract. 

Reporting to the Manager of Staff Communications, this position is responsible for delivering professional and strategic communications advice and planning, with a specific focus on university wide initiatives directed towards staff. You will be expected to supervise the collation, sub-editing and publication of the weekly staff newsletter, as well as take the initiative to source, create and support the development of high quality audience driven messaging. There will be regular events and staff forums that you will be expected to attend and a requirement to work in close collaboration with the broader marketing and communications function at the university.
Tertiary qualified in a related communications or business field, you will present with a minimum 6 years' experience within a corporate communications post and a deep understanding of internal communications. With exemplary writing skills, you will have a natural ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of the business. Experience working within an education or government related industry will be highly regarded.
