Who is Standards Australia?
We are an independent not-for-profit organisation, recognised by the Australian Government as the peak non-government Standards body. We develop internationally aligned Australian Standards in the national interest and work closely across government, industry, consumer and stakeholder groups.

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 graduate graphic designers to join our team on a 12 month contract basis. This will be a job share, with a 5 day working week split between two people.
About the role
The primary role of the Junior Graphic Designer is to ensure Standards Australia and its products and services are cohesively branded and promoted. This vital role is responsible for the design, development and implementation of creative design solutions that protect and promote Standards Australia and its various business units.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provision of corporate graphic design services to Standards Australia and its business units
- Design and development of Standards Australia’s corporate website
- Creative design and production of promotional and marketing material for Standards Australia
- Design support to Standards Australia including maintaining a consistent look for all products and service materials
- Implementation of corporate design style guide across the organisation.
What are we looking for?
We are essentially looking for candidates who are interested in creative design, development and production management of various mediums, with the following minimum qualifications:
- Graphic Design qualification, or working towards
- Thorough knowledge of current graphic design software applications incl. Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
