An iconic Queensland brand focused on digital transformation and service delivery have a created a new opportunity for Business Development Manager to join their team. 

You will be responsible for identifying, planning, and supporting strategic business growth initiatives of the organisations Business Plan, to increase activity and boost revenue. The position is also accountable for pursuing improvements in the sales and distribution network, preparing business cases and gaining organisational endorsement, and managing implementation of these opportunity initiatives. There is a significant focus on contact with external relationships and networks to achieve sales and revenue goals

Key responsibilities include:

• Tertiary qualifications in related discipline (psychology, statistics, maths, information science, business management, business/marketing research, human resources etc.)
• 3+ years in complex product development environment
• 5+ years in a consumer marketing environment
• Strong research skills and analytical capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and gain acceptance of proposals, scopes of work, research designs clients, partners, and funders.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results within a business, collaboratively
• Experience in Lotteries highly desirable
• Time management and organisational skills to balance multiple projects
• Highly numerate
• Strong IT, research skills and analytical capabilities
