Job Descriptions:

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven, self-motivated and high performing Brand Marketing Manager looking to take the next step in their career to champion the development and execution of the Meir brand strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will see you work closely with Executive Management on identifying new opportunities, equity and distribution in local and global markets.

 

About the role:

  • You will drive business growth through efforts on building brand equity on a global scale including Europe
  • You will be responsible to create and execute marketing campaigns that span across various platforms
  • You will ensure all activities are within the brand guidelines as well as meeting meet their objectives – leveraging your comprehensive and ongoing understanding of the brand
  • You will track and monitor the performance of all activities to identify positive and negative ROI’s as well as taking necessary action to alter campaigns accordingly and in a timely manner
  • You will project manage campaigns and activities to the extent required depending on the available resources at your disposal
  • You will design and maintain all visual merchandising of products, both domestically and internationally
  • You will communicate plans and activities to other teams on a regular basis and as needed
  • You will manage a range of agencies including PR, Digital, Web development and Creative
  • You will manage the company’s digital assets to ensure that clients and service providers have easy access to an updated library at any given point in time
  • You will manage monthly A&P spend and reporting to a high level of accuracy
  • You will be available for domestic and international travel where necessary and when virtual tasks are limited

 

About you:

  • You will have a can-do attitude and do whatever it takes to meet deadlines and targets

  • You will possess an entrepreneurial spirit
  • You will enjoy experimenting with new ideas but maintain a constant alignment with the brand’s vision
  • You will be commercially minded, exhibit strong analytical skills but also have the ability to link brand plans with the strategic objectives
  • You will prioritise tasks efficiently and be flexible to manage multiple activities simultaneously as well as have the maturity to pause tasks to allow more important projects to take priority
  • You will have a deep understanding of marketing from an emotional perspective and can identify and enhance activities which have the highest rate of success
  • You will create and closely monitor the monthly calendar of activities and use software to ensure the success of your deliverables
  • You will present ideas to executives and clients in a clear and concise manner, covering all aspects including timeframes, goals, and more
  • You will have exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • You will continuously monitor digital developments to maintain your competitor analysis, to ensure the company is able to take advantage of new technologies and efficiencies

 

Experience required:

  • Marketing degree or similar
  • Has worked with well known, premium or high-end brands for at least 3 years
  • Has proven experience in growing a marketing division
  • Experience developing and executing brand positioning programs
  • Experience in understanding and developing strategies with the end to end consumer experience in mind
  • Experience in directing and responsible for a range of staff and service providers’ performance
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce with both WooCommerce and Shopify Plus
  • Experience with data and the ability to analyse and summarise
  • Experience and hands-on involvement with a new website roll-out
  • Experience in managing a marketing budget
