The responsibility of this role is over the scope and success of the Company’s overall marketing activities – not their content. Thus, the emphasis is on developing and implementing “wholistic” but multi-dimensional marketing activity plan which will support Company branding, business verticals’ plans and product marketing strategy, through to field sales programs, and on-line promotion and sales.
The Company manufactures and markets industrial products; it is a very diverse business to business sales and marketer. Therefore, its marketing programs and communications tend to be more “commercially grounded”, tangible and at times customer-targeted, than might apply in consumer-oriented mass-marketing communications.
This position will give you a unique exposure to and understanding of the Company’s total operations and realistically position you for larger commercial management positions.
Candidates must have an appropriate commercial tertiary qualification. They will have developed their career in both sales and marketing roles – but with emphasis on product management, sales promotion and marketing communications/advertising including e-commerce. Most importantly, they will have demonstrated the ability to conceive and direct a total Company commercial communications program – beyond individual product or market campaigns.
